Enchanted Forest

“Secluded, unique, charming, artful, and serene are only a few descriptions of this cabin and property. The annual women’s trip of over fifteen years found its most favored accommodations to date. Steve, the property owner, has generously shared his love of the arts with those of us fortunate enough to visit. The background sound of the river lulled us to sleep each night. The bath house allowed us to look forward to that morning shower more than ever, and the outdoor cooking space created the perfect setting for evening meal preparation. Truly a memorable vacation. ”

Secluded creekside cabin 10 minutes from McKinzie Bridge

“What a find! Cozy cabin decorated with indigenous fabrics and art from around the world. Peaceful, quiet, private getaway conveniently located close to McKinzie Bridge. Did I mention the outdoor bath house with sauna, two toilet stalls, and two private showers enclosed on three sides with fourth side open to the creek? Oh, and the outdoor kitchen, fire ring, outdoor covered eating area, and secluded oriental pagoda? And the yurt? My favorite moments were sitting in the glider on the screened-in creekside porch sipping my morning coffee. Doesn't get any better than that. Lots of options here, and comfortable for a couple (we were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary) or for a dozen.close friends. Don't go here if you are tied to you cell phone though. Cell coverage isn't available except through wifi. And there's a phone in the cottage if someone really needs to find you. Drive the 10 minutes to McKinzie Bridge and you can have your daily cell fix. Or stay here to really unplug and recharge. My Response Delightful, thanks for sharing your experiences here and views of the property and thanks for conscientiously leaving no footprints. Hope you also taken the walk to King Creek on the Western boundary of the property, which is one of the pristine streams in this watershed. ”

“I came to my first retreat not knowing what to expect…sort of hoping for answers to some questions with which I was wrestling. What I am discovering is an ever-deepening community that loves and supports the essence of who I am, and helping me discover that.  This process, a way of life – this returning to retreat once a season to be in community for this transformative work of listening to and honoring each others’ souls – is one I hope to continue in my journey. It is indescribably valuable to be able to share this journey so deeply and intimately with others. ”
